Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis is an experience media industry GC, Non Executive Director and charity trustee.

Her executive roles have included Group Legal Affairs Director at ITV Plc and before that many years as Commercial Group Legal director and GC at Guardian Media Group, during which time she was involved in the international expansion of The Guardian and Observer into the US and Australia and a number of high-profile news stories and events including Wikileaks, the Pulitzer Prize winning Edward Snowden revelations and the Leverson Inquiry into phone hacking.

Alongside her legal career Sarah has over 20 years non-executive experience in creative arts, education and humanitarian sectors, including as chair of Poet in the City, vice chair and trustee of the Media Trust, Governor of University of East London, the Society of Authors and in July 2021 joined the board of the Women’s Prize for Fiction.

Sarah is currently Vice Chair of the board of trustees of UNICEF UK.
