The 2026 FT Innovative Lawyers Europe report is now open for submissions!
The FT website sets out everything firms and in‑house teams need to know, including:
- Categories & Submission Limits: Clear guidance for private practice firms and corporate legal departments across practice innovation, responsible business, people and skills, knowledge and data, business transformation, intrapreneurs, individual practitioners, and more.
- Assessment Criteria: Detailed breakdown of how originality, leadership and impact will be evaluated by the FT’s research partner, RSGI, including interviews, benchmark data and client references.
- FT Law Firm Index: Information on how firms are scored on innovation, technology, social impact and people strategy.
- Submission Format: Word limits, required evidence, reference requirements and guidance on what to include in each entry.
- How to Submit: Access to the online portal and contact details for queries.
Deadlines & Key Dates:
April 6, 2026 – submission deadline
July – shortlists announced
September 24 – awards event at the Natural History Museum, London
September 25 – FT report publication
