Isobel Thorley
Issy is part of the FT Innovative Lawyers research team, conducting interviews and analysis and writing content for the FT special reports.
After graduating from UCL with a BSc in Anthropology with a year abroad in Montreal, Issy moved to Paris and worked in a technology communications firm, developing her business skills and French language to intermediate level.
She later pursued an MA in International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, from Paris, focusing on research methodologies and global governance.
Alongside her MA studies, Issy worked at a European think tank as a research assistant in the Digitalisation Team, where she conducted benchmarking policy reports on the EU’s Digital Decade for the European Commission.
